We were delighted our guide and driver Patrick Larkin. No matter how beautiful the scenery or how mixed the weather, enjoyment comes from the way you are treated. Patrick was a great host, friendly and ready to accommodate our whims.
Of the tour itself, it was well balanced. I loved the medieval castle of Auganure. It is the most complete example of a medieval Irish native fortified home thanks to its inaccessibility to cannon guns of the invaders.
Kylemore is the best example of the Victorian Landlord's home but it is sweeter than most not only for its exquisites
