As part of this tour you go to a waterfall after zip lining. Our tour guide was Caroo. He lead us down a path to a small river/waterway. At that point there is no longer a clear path but he guided us to the waterfall. Spent some time at the fall. When it was time to go, he did not lead us out. This time he was in the back of the group and instructed us to start heading out. I was in front and as I traversed the rocks I did not know of the best way to go cause there was no path. I slipped, fell backwards severely injuring my arm. Caroo came up from the back about 30-60 seconds later. After I gathered myself and assessed my injuries, he and another guest on the tour helped me up. I was not able to move my arm. I wrapped it in my shirt like a sling and we made our way back to the jeep. Once back at the resort, Caroo kept saying “please don’t forget a 5 star review”. He said it three times. I was pissed. No one from Island Route Tours ever reached out to me. Sandals did make an effort to take care of me. Word to the wise, if you have a tour guide make sure they are always leading the way. In this case their negligence severely impacted my remaining stay.

Best zip line we have been on. The crew is a lot of fun. Just when you think you are high up, you look up and see another line. The safari tour included calling out a lot of plant life and our guide made sure we all tried coconuts. Waterfall was amazing.

My husband and I went on the zip line and Jeep tour. Mason, our guide and driver, was overly accommodating and went out of his way to be personable and make sure that everyone was having a good time. He is an example of how friendly people that live on the island are. Driving in the back of the vehicle was awesome and a great way to see the island up close. I recommend bringing water shoes as the tour includes a water fall stop but is a little rocky.
