This full-day tour allows you to go from a morning visit to Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, to the beautiful and surprising valley of Alcantara river in the afternoon. In the first part of the excursion, you will submerge in nature and visit old craters and lava flow caves, enjoy breathtaking views, and taste typical local products. In the afternoon, before seeing the famous basaltic canyon named Gorges, you will walk next the river Alcantara through a lush vegetation until to visit the Gurne, little lakes created by the same river.

This trip was amazing. We were a group of 4 and we had Simone as our tour guide. I have traveled around the world and had many tour guides and I have to say that Simone is one of my favorite guides I’ve ever had. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating and keeps the mood light while still teaching.

This was a fantastic day spent in Sicily! We only came for a short visit and I’m so glad I decided to go for this tour. Our guide, Giuseppe, was highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly, and had so much knowledge about the mountain and the history surrounding it. The e-cycling up the volcano was a far better way to see it than the cable car (in my opinion). And Alessio, our cycling guide, was very supportive and helped us to get used to the e-bikes, considering a couple of us had a bit of trouble with the terrain to begin with. I was a little surprised at the additional price, which was almost as much as the main tour, but I don’t regret paying it. Later our tour took us to a small shop that was a producer of delicious honey and some wine. And finally Alcantara Gorges, which was an incredible way to end the day! The water was absolutely freezing, but so refreshing after the cycle.

War gestern (18.10.2022) mit dem Bruder durch das Unternehmen auf dem Etna und in der Alcantara Schlucht. Wir hatten den Guide Enzo. Ein wirklich spitze Kerl der die Tour interessant gestaltet hatte und bereit war auf die Wünsche der Teilnehmer einzugehen und er vermittelte Informationen die man leicht aufnehmen konnte.
