This was a wonderful combination of touring Mt Etna followed by a tasting of regional foods and wines. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. We had a choice of cable car up the volcano or a hike around craters lower down and everyone came back from their activity happy. Then we went to explore a basalt cave before going to a winery. There we had lots of delicious foods, some good wines, and locally made liqoures. It was a good way to spend a day and was a good value too. There were six in the group, their max is 8, and they picked us up at our AirBNB.

Heading to the top of Mount Etna was breathtaking. Otherworldly landscape, clumps of snow… Our guide Simone was extremely knowledgeable and funny Our wine tasting was full of yummy local appetizers and four delicious local wines - all had very strong flavours. Would do it again!
