    Forza d'Agrò is a town in the Messina area with only 833 inhabitants, however it is a very popular destination for visitors who want to find themselves in some places where the Godfather film was filmed. The buildings of greatest interest that we find inside were built between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries. As soon as we arrive we will stop in a breathtaking panoramic point, where we will admire the Ionian coast and the Valle d'Agrò, after which we will have the opportunity to walk in the village by visiting the Church of the Santissima Annunziata, which appears in the film, the Church of the Holy Trinity located in front of the Arco Durazzesco and the Augustinian convent.

    Just 30 minutes from Forza d'Agrò, Savoca will be the second stop. With 1732 inhabitants, it too will give us a wonderful panorama and walking we will visit some places where filming was carried out, the most important, the Vitelli Bar, and then continue towards the Mother Church of Savoca. We can optionally visit the crypt with the mummies, in the Capuchin Convent.

This views were pretty but it was overpriced for what we got. We saw 3 sites from the Godfather movie but the guide was not educated on the movie which was disappointing . He was rather quiet and shy which didn't make the day very interesting. Half the day was a slow walking tour and the rest of the day was driving.

L'autista è stato gentile e professionale, ci ha anche accompagnati all'interno delle città mostrandoci i luoghi dove sono avvenute le riprese del film. La macchina era una berlina comoda e pulitissima, non poteva andare meglio... Grazie per questa bella esperienza!

Il tour del Padrino è fantastico per gli amanti della serie, siamo stati bene dall'inizio alla fine passeggiando in questi paesini che pullulano di tradizione siciliana. Ritrovarmi davanti alla chiesa del matrimonio e al bar dell'incontro con Apollonia è stato magico. Esperienza consigliata!
