Väldigt fina vyer längs rutten, bra och kunnig guide. Vingården var utmärkt med riktigt goda viner samt duktig personal. Ca. 8 timmars program var perfekt längd på en dagsutflykt.

The tour is well organized and adapted to your level of physical fitness. Vito provided proper footwear for those who didn’t have. The temperature was definitely cooler than down by sea level, it was overcast which made the hike to Etna comfortable. At the Gambino winery, the welcome was superb - allowing us a washroom break before our first glass of wine. The building is recent and very nice. Our host Nino was very informative, knowledgeable and patient. During our lunch it rained heavy for around 10 minutes and the staff were in aw, stoping to witness the moment - it hadn’t rained since January. Lunch was an excellent charcuterie plate with seconds permitted. The wine was plentiful and very good. I recommend this excursion.

The trip to Etna was well guided and informative. However, what put this tour way over the top was the wine “tasting” at Gambino. I’ve been to countless wine tastings in the US and Europe and never ever had such a fantastic experience. The wines were superb and the “tastings” were similar to what you would get at the house of a close fiend. The pours were more then generous and then they left full bottles on the table for us to enjoy. Unprecedented in my experience. And we also received a “light” lunch. It may have been light but only by Henry the Eighth standards. Bread with dipping seasonings, cheeses, charcuterie board, sausages and cannolis. Just phenomenal. Last but not the least was the gentlemen who ran the excursion - Victorio and his crew went above and beyond to make this a great day.
