Really enjoyed my time walking around antiqua. The tour guide is honestly so amazing. Can’t recommend him enough. Very patient and lots of history to tell.

A walking to is, for us, the ideal way to orientate yourself in a new place and to learn and appreciate some of the historical context. I'll guide yesterday was Erwin, who met and exceeded all expectations! This isn't just about "stamp collecting" churches and museums and other points of interest, but the way that he structures are is all about the context into which those places fit. So Irwin talked a lot about the history of the city, how the city evolved and developed, and how the city itself, in modern day, works. We did see a lot of places, but it was his commentary that was completely engaging. He's also extremely knowledgeable about a much wider range of topics and that gave us a very diverse and stimulating conversation as we walked. We also discussed the situation that occurred during the pandemic, and anybody visiting La Antiqua should be in no doubt that the people there, who are clearly very reliant on visitors, had a very very difficult time. But everything seems to be bouncing back and Aaron was very positive about the future which was reassuring to see. We thoroughly recommend him as a guide; absolutely no reservation.
