This is a Luxury experience- we have 3 guides (private cowboy with horse, English speaking and guide that tells you details of volcano.) We book the private lava chef, have chips & salsa on a brilliant colored picnic and your sunset dinner is served with wine-We also have tasting of gourmet chocolates of Guatemala-to accompany S'mores you roast on lava- ALL at the base of an active volcano overlooking 3 other volcanos.

We had great communication from Nikki before the trip so knew what to expect and bring. Mikey, our cowboy, was a great host and our horses were easy to ride. We learnt a lot on the way up the volcano from our volcanologist guide, Marvin. The trek was beautiful and the pizzas delicious, thank you very much for a great experience!

We had an unforgettable and amazing experience! Kids ages 9 and 11 able to ride the horses with no problem up the volcano and guides there for each. Great photos and views. But the most amazing part was when at the top and walking around the volcanic rocks, touching hot rocks, and then having pizza and s’mores cooked on the heat from the rocks! The wine was great for the adults too. My son said this was the best part of his 10 day vacation. Highly recommend.

This tour was the highlight of our Guatemala tour. Nikki, Manuel, the cowboys and the horses were all amazing. I am afraid of horses, but rode one these horses and had a blast. Nikki was so much fun and the entire adventure was a amazing. This is a must when coming to Guatemala. The pizza and s'mores at the top were fantastic. If you do one thing in Guatemala, this is it!!! We loved everything about the tour and especially our hosts. We were also very impressed with all the volunteer work they do for the dogs, cats and horses of Guatemala. Truly, great people and great adventure!
