I enjoyed the entire experience this morning with Desiree, but my favourite part about today was the two step process of learning via Desiree's piece by piece demonstration, and then getting straight into the work myself. I had never used watercolour before and Desiree made it look SO EASY! Initially I was worried I'd make a mess of my work but every time Desiree showed me a new technique (how to blend, or balance the water ..) I just felt more confident, and the creative juices just flowed from there! I would definitely recommend this workshop because it was not only enjoyable, it gives you a bit of a challenge and this is what I loved! ..Proud of the final product, must say ;)

Desiree’s class was instructional and fun! Great way to spend a morning. Learning water coloring technics and meeting new people, locals and visitors in a lovely setting. I highly recommend Desiree’s class.

Fun and instructive watercolor class in a beautiful setting and with a talented teacher. We learned several techniques and then did three paintings. We were offered refreshments during a short break and were able to enjoy the beautiful home of our teacher, Desiree Iturbide. I highly recommend this painting adventure if you are in the Antigua area. Desiree’s studio is a short tuk tuk ride away, and you will see more of Antigua on the way there. All supplies were readily available to us and included in the price of the class
