  • Pawon Luwak, Borobudur, Indonesia
    Visit Pawon temple, Pawon from the word Per-awu-an (place that contains dust), a temple that houses the dust of cremated king. However who was the personage that entombed here is still unknown. Local people name this temple as "Bajranalan" based on the name of the village.

Rising above the centre of the last of these concentric squares are three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them. This is a magnificent 10+ trip. Tulus our guide is a rockstar. He knows everything and everybody. We were treated like a VIP by him and wherever we went. One of the very best guides we ever experienced. The temples, jeep tour and sunrise breakfast were unique. Travel with Tulus!!

The best organizer I ever met. Always on schedule, top activities, top private car, and very kind! We asked additionnally for the night ballet at Prambanan and we got it without problem for minimum extra charge
