The private 2 days Marrakech desert tour to Erg Lihoudi in the sahara desert near Zagora is one of our pre-made private 2 days desert tours designed for people limited time to have a complete desert experience. Erg Lihoudi dunes is the best desert destination accessible in only 2 days. We highly do not recommend going to Tinfou dunes or some very small dunes around Zagora. It's very touristy and provides a very bad travel experience.

This trip was an absolute highlight of Morocco. Our driver was very knowledgeable, easy going, friendly and his English was excellent by the local standards. He did his best to incorporate our wished into the program. Drive to the desert camp was long, but we enjoyed the views on the way. The camp was almost empty as it was off season, but we had some great local food and music in the evening by the local berbers. We caught both the sunset and sunrise over the dunes, which was absolutely magical. The tents were comfortable enough and the beds were done with clean bedding. There were showers with warm water and clean toilets. I absolutely adore camels and we were able to find some extra time to leave the camp on camel back, just as we arrived. We stopped at the desert city, Ouarzazate, which was on my MUST VISIT list. Our driver was able to secure us a local guide, who gave us a great tour of the place.

Prachtige ervaring, rijdend op een dromedaris met PRACHTIGE zonsondergang (gelukkig waren we net op tijd hiervoor) en geweldige sterrenhemel. Heel mooi kamp, boven verwachting en super geslapen. Eten was goed en afgesloten met zonsondergang en de terugtocht naar het busje op de dromedaris. De buschauffeur Hassan Jouidi reed uitstekend.
