- At the heart of Morocco's Atlas Mountains is Jebel Toubkal, its highest peak at 4,167m, from which high ridges radiate toward the dry plains This magnificent trek circles the Toubkal massif, crossing high passes between oasis-valleys with their mud-brick semi-fortified traditional Berber villages and high valleys with patches of summer pasture. Enjoy some magnificent views along the spine of the Atlas and down toward the slumbering Sahara.Take in the amazing Lac D'Ifni behind its barrier of lava; scramble up snowfields and rock to the Toubkal peak.This is a tough walk at some altitude, so come prepared.

Toubkal trek We had great time with Abde today. He is a great guide with amazing knowledge about local culture and interesting landmarks. He showed us the best spots with amazing views and advised us how to make the best photos. Also he took great photos of us and we had opportunity to dance in the mountains We were impressed with how Abde is organized and punctual. Defnetely a very good guide with great English skills. Abde is  also a great, confident driver and entertained us with personalised soundtrack in the meantime. During our drive to imlil Valley he learned us basic phrases in berber and shared a lot of interesting info about Berber culture. It was definetely a very interesting and informative day trip to toubkal and surrounding spots.

This was really great trip and would fully recommend for anyone with a decent level of fitness and a passion for outdoors/mountaineering. Hassan was a great guide and provided us with everything we needed. There's no need to bring clothing/equipment as it can all be rented in imlil. Similarly, we were given plenty of food with 2 Lunches and dinner provided. Accommodation in the refuge was surprisingly comfortable as well.

It was a wonderful experience. Abderrahim is an excellent guide who takes great care of his guests. Everything is safe and well organized - from the pickup in Marrakesh to the meals and accommodation in the Refuge. I can fully recommend him and would do the tour again anytime. In winter it was very exhausting and cold, but also beautiful and rewarding.
