The whole trip was so amazing. The tour guides were very accommodating and hospitable. We were able to make the most of our short stay thanks to them. Was nice enough to take us to various shops so we could buy some souvenirs to take home. Toured the medina, went camel riding, went to the mountains, went to see how argon oil was made, and so much more in just two days. Everyone was very hospitable and happy to answer any questions. Will absolutely hundred percent recommend!
After reading the positive Trip Advisor ratings of Morocco Desert Trips, we decided to book an 8D7N Private Tour for our honeymoon. But we didn't anticipate it to be this fantastic.
We had never taken a private tour before, so we were unsure of what to anticipate. But as soon as we met our guide, Said a.k.a. "Addi," we knew we were safe. He is the kindest person we have encountered in Morocco. We are eternally grateful to him for making our honeymoon trip the most memorable ever.
The tour was expertly organized and very well planned. It truly allows you to visit Morocco in a thorough way, with stops in major areas and cities of interest including High Atlas Mountains, Dades Valley, Merzouga, Fes, Chefchaouen, Rabat, Casablanca, etc. Every city was different and amazing in its own way.
We got to learn about the rich culture and history of Morocco during our trip. Addi is very knowledgeable and explained us the way of life in Morocco. We also visited a nomad family along the way and we had the pleasure of having tea at their home.
During our stay, Addi made sure we had the best experience at Hotels and Riads. Every accommodation we stayed in was incredible. The hospitality and services provided at those places were so great that we enjoyed every bit of it. Everything had a strong local and Moroccan vibe. The meals served to us during the tour were delicious and mouthwatering. Speaking about cuisine, Tagine was our favourite.
We are also truly grateful to the wonderful and friendly tour guides we met along the way, including Hassan from Fes, Yoonis from Volubilis, etc. Also, the friendliest individuals we have encountered across various corporatives.
Although each and every city was different on its own way, we loved the Merzouga Desert experience the most. Camel ride, seeing sunset, campfire with drums and waking up early for the sunrise was the most amazing things we experienced during this trip. We will never forget the surprise we received following the dinner. Our honeymoon cake, singing and drums were genuinely unexpected.
Even though we had a lot of driving to do, we never got tired of the breathtaking scenery along the way, and we took breaks for the day at lovely rest spots.
More importantly, Addi treated us with utmost respect and made sure we had fun during our long drives. The incredible music playlist in the car, dancing and singing along the way was really fun. Also, he is a wonderful photographer. He went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and satisfied with our trip. He was very kind and patient with us. And took the most amazing pictures for us at all locations. We highly recommend this experience.
It was undoubtedly one of, if not the best trip of our lives. We created so many incredible and unforgettable moments.

We (dad + 2 grown sons) thoroughly enjoyed the private 8 day tour. Our guide Khalil was flexible with our sights, timing and food requests. We added sights spur of the moment and also skipped (or spent less time at) those that weren’t of interest. It was a wonderful luxury that cookie cutter tours do not afford and it was perfect for us.
The tour is very well planned in terms of routing. Bear it mind, Morocco is a big country so there is a lot of driving in the 8 days. But there are beautiful pit stops and rests to break up the day.
You will absolutely enjoy having Khalil as your guide. He’s a local entrepreneur who’s excited about sharing his culture and speaks both Arabic and Berber. Additionally, the guide he partners with in Fes, Hassan, is such a delightful man! He was equally knowledgeable and only added to the richness of our trip.
We did the 8 day tour as we did Marrakech on our own for 3 days. Then we met Khalil who toured us around the rest of the country. We also booked our own hotels. However, if you choose to do this option we would suggest getting Khalil’s recommendation on which desert camp to stay at; our booking turned out to be a bust and Khalil saved the day :)
There is quite a bit of distance between towns and attractions in Morocco. For an easy trip planning wise, then absolutely book this trip!
