This is a must for anybody visiting Morocco. The drive to the Big Atlas mountain was wonderful, catching the sunrise on our way up and marveling at the view from Tiznit-n-Tichka pass. Our tour guide/driver was necessarily cautious as he navigated the zigzagging road. Mohamed, our tour guide/driver was very informative and accommodating. He did the necessary stops we asked of him. It was a private tour after all. Upon arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, he handed us over to a different guide and gave us a bottle of water each, for the warm climb up Ait Ben Haddou. The other guide, Radia, was also very informative and patient with us taking stops for pictures every now and then. We then had lunch at a restaurant with an amazing view of Ait Ben Haddou. Upon arriving back to Marrakech, Mohamed made a reservation for us, upon our request, to a wonderful restaurant serving traditional cuisine. It was, overall, an experience to be cherished!

The tour started very early in the morning and we appreciated the punctuality of our tour guide/driver. The drive to the Bug Atlas Mountain was long but we appreciated having to see the sunrise and having a breakfast stop with a beautiful view. Mohamed, our tour guide/driver was informative and answered all our questions. He was also very accommodating, making the necessary stops we requested. It was a private tour anyways. He provided water for us as it was a little hot when we got to Ait Ben Haddou, which was helpful. We had a separate tour guide for Ait Ben Haddou, Radia, who also was very informative. She was also very patient as we had to stop several times to take pictures. We had a sumptuous lunch at Chez Brahim with a wonderful view of Ait Ben Haddou. Upon going back to Marrakech, Mohamed even helped us find a wonderful restaurant, for our last night in Marrakech. Overall it was an amazing experience! Ask for Mohamed, if possible, for your tour guide/driver.

Really wonderful tour from Ismail - he really brought us together, made us laugh, and educated us. The Berber lunch was a particular highlight! There was a lot of driving but I guess there’s no way around that if you want to see the Five Valleys. I’d recommend the tour but it’s highly correlated with Ismail as a tour guide!
