This is an all inclusive journey from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains to explore 5 valleys on a day trip Asni, Sidi Fares, and part of Ourika valleys and many remote Berber villages scattered around the roads. It's your unique opportunity to discover the beautiful landscape of the Atlas Mountains and meet the Berbers while you enjoy walk through their villages. Situated in 30 km to the south of Marrakech and and close to the rocky desert of Agafay, Lalla Takerkoust is your first destination where your camel guide is waiting to take you for a 30 minutes camel ride after providing you with scarf and local outfit to rich your pictures file.

  • Atlas Mountains
    Continue your drive via Kik plateau to the next destination, with its green fields, it's scenic spot over the surrounding high peaks; the stop is a must in Asni Valley. Continues then passing by the forest of ifghane (home of Oak-& pine-trees) to reach the third valley of Sidi Fars where the authentic Moroccan cuisine is waiting to be discovered ; enjoy a welcoming cup of mint tea followed by fresh lunch served by the locals. Afterwards, you go for a free walk on your own pace following the road with full view over the valley with its fields and its Berber villages scattered around. Your driver will catch up with you then the drive carries on to get to the next Valley. Home of many typical villages ; Oukaimden Valley deserves KODAK moment stop before concluding your day trip with a visit to a part of Ourika where you stop to visit an Argan oil co-operative to get insight into this unique product to Morocco, the process of extraction and its benefits. From the pick up with Mohammed to the fun singing camel men to the incredible guide Hasan. A most fantastic great value day with a delicious lunch, lovely to meet the berbers in the mountain village. A absolute must trip.

An excellent day from start to finish. We were picked up near our Riad in the Medina. We drove towards the Berber town of Imlil and made a few stops along the way to take some pictures of Berber villages and also to visit the Argan oil cooperative to learn how it’s made and see some of the products. We had a breakfast of Berber tea, bread and argan oil peanut butter. On arriving at Imlil we went for. 90 minute hike to the waterfall and back to a Berber villagers house for a delicious lunch and a stunning view overlooking The Valley with the Toubkal peak in the background. Our guide for the day, Nassim was very attentive and was a wealth of information on the local geography, religion, Berber culture and everything in between. The lunch was in the home of his family members and we were made to feel very welcome. Nassim also ensured that we had lots of pictures to remember our trip. After a long and relaxing lunch we went back to Marrakech stoping along the way for a Camel ride, dressed up like Lawrence of Arabia, ain’t a dried riverbed. All in all a spectacular day, which was great fun and very educational. Many thanks to our hosts. I would highly recommend this trip.

We picked this trip because we're only in Morocco for 4 days and wanted to see as much as possible and weren't disappointed! Our guides were fantastic and helpful, gave us loads of information, answered all our questions and offered to take our photographs constantly. We made several stops on the way to the mountains including some beautiful view points! Once we got to the mountains we walked for 2 hours stopping at waterfalls, villages and ending in a house belonging to our guides family where we had a private home cooked lunch which was delicious! We spent some time with the family on their rooftop which provided the best possible view of the mountains. On the way back we stopped in the dessert for a camel ride, the people were very friendly and the camels were well looked after. This was followed by some lovely mint tea and conversation at their camp. Overall we couldn't recommend our guides or this company enough, a personal and friendly trip and a good way to experience berber culture!
