I will pick you up from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech at 08:30, then we start our trip towards the high Atlas Mountains. We will have camel ride on the way before we stop to discover how the argan oil is extracted in the Berber women cooperative then we continue via Tahnaouet (local weekly market on Tuesdays), Valley Ghighaya, Moulay Brahim gorges, Asni (Weekly market on Saturdays) then between terraced fields of vegetables and fruit trees to imlil 5 700 feet, then starting walking through berber villages ( Achayn, Armed, Tagadirte, Ait Souka), then passing by a waterfall before climbing to Armed village at 6 400 feet, After we will arrive at a traditional Berber house to enjoy a wonderful lunch with a view on the highest peak in North Africa Toubkal 13 665 feet. After lunch you can explore the village a bit more and we then start the descend of about 30min back to Imlil. From there, we will back to Marrakech and i will drop you off at your hotel around 5 PM.

    This full day private tour of the Atlas Mountains and the four valleys begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel just before 9:00. Make yourself comfortable as you begin your journey aboard your air-conditioned minibus to a traditional village and an Argane oil cooperative. Continue to the mountainous region with a camel ride and admire the splendid panoramic views along the way. Then your guide leads you to the Imlil Valley where you can rest on a terrace to enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea and a piece of cake. Your guide offers a few options for the rest of the day, including the length of the walk you want to do and if you prefer to get to your next stop by vehicle, on foot, or on the back of a mule. Once you have decided, go to the village of Ait Souka. Lunch is waiting for you and your group. Enjoy a traditional Berber lunch, including salad, tajine, couscous, and fruit. In the village, follow your guide to the house of a Berber family, and discover its culture and way of life before going to the gorges of Moulay Brahim near the valley of Asni. Your day ends with a peaceful return to Marrakech. You will be transferred to your hotel upon arrival in the city. Tours end at different times depending on the options you choose in the Imlil Valley.

Great trip.met some lovely people,got to try lovely freshly cooked food for about a fiver.fabulous scenery.brilliant knowledgeable guide and driver.well worth the money.perhaps too long a trip for little ones,tough walk and not the safest terrain to say the least

La excursión muy recomendable. Los pueblos beréber y caminar por los poblados fue espectacular! No que hablar de la comida, la mejor de toff de o el viaje. Además Mohamed nos llevó a su casa y estuve pendiente de el grupo todo el tiempo

This trip was my favourite experience among everything else we did in Marrakech! The scenery along the winding roads up the mountains was insanely beautiful. He made sure to stop so we could take photos at the most beautiful destinations, and offered to take loads for us which is always a bonus! It offered so much variety from the camel back riding, the hike up the mountains, the argan oil factory, seeing the water falls. The day definately offered a great escape from the business and chaos you’ll experience in the souks. We visited both the driver and the tour guides homes and met the family which added a very personal and authentic touch. The tour guide was so friendly, upbeat and had a great sense of honour and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. It was incredibly good value for money with tea and biscuits, breakfast and lunch and dessert. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting marrakech. The day went very smoothly, as we were also picked up and escorted back. The tour guide was so friendly, upbeat, had a great sense of honour, and made sure we felt comfortable at all times.
