    tart your day trip at 07:00 with a pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. Hop inside your air-conditioned car and soak up the scenery as you travel into the Atlas Mountains. Learn about life in the mountain villages, and cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass, climbing to 7,415 feet (2,260 meters) en route. The trip takes around 3 hours each way. The first stop is at the top of Tizi n'Tichka, the second at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the third at Ouarzazate (The Hollywood of Africa). Afterwards, return to Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Marrakech at approximately 19:30.

Der Ausflug dauert insgesamt 13,5 Stunden. Davon sitzt man ca. 10 im Kleinbus. Dafür sieht man viel wunderbare Landschaft und Orte aus alten Zeiten. Es gibt genügend Pausen. Der Mittagessen-empfehlung des Reiseleiters kann man, muss man aber nicht folgen, wenn man preiswerter speisen möchte.

Escursione programmata da tempo che doveva essere il clou della nostra vacanza! Siamo state oltre un ora al freddo all’alba ad aspettare un tour operetor che non si è presentato, dandoci buca! Oltre che non essere andati a fare l’escursione, Vacanza rovinata con tanto di raffreddore e febbre.

Ben Haddou impressive and the Atlas film studios very interesting. Although the best thing about the trip was Hakim, a good driver, kind, attentive (he bought us water due to the heat without asking for anything in return), very professional and very patient.
