Meet a driver at your hotel in Marrakech, or at a central location, for the roughly 3-hour trip to Essaouira, a laid-back city that’s cooled by sea breezes. On your way to Essaouira, make a stop at an Argan oil cooperative, learning how the golden oil is produced using traditional techniques. Upon arrival in Essaouira, set out on your own to explore the compact historic center, ringed by fortifications with great views of the ocean. You'll have the freedom to see and do what you want. The ride to the Essaouira was ok. We also visited a women's collective and saw a tree with goats that eat the Argan nut, which was both ok too. The main problem is that the van lacked air conditioned. The only source of cool air was the opened windows from the driver and passenger side of the van. The van was too hot, I was sweating bullets. This needs to be corrected ASAP.
