The technique is known as one of the more famous design styles of Essaouira. Make sure to save a little time to check out the city’s beach, where you can enjoy some sand, surf and sun, before heading back to your Marrakech hotel with your driver in the evening.

I had an amazing time with the Essaouira tour. I had plenty of time exploring the old city, the driver stopped along the way so we could take photos kf the goats on the trees, i learned how argan oil is made, and the tour is generally not rushed. The full day tour was not rigid, it gave me time to soak in the Moroccan culture.
