Vriendelijke man, spreekt goed Engels. Geeft veel informatie. Vriendelijk in contact en grappig. Je kan je eigen wensen doorgeven, waar hij dan rekening mee houdt. In Rabat zelf krijg je een andere gids voor de stad, ook vriendelijk en met veel info

Our driver, Madhi was great. He stopped when we needed and explained everything we were seeing. However, the tour was a huge disappointment. The drive to get to Rabat was 4 hours and the tour was less than 90 minutes. We were told we should go to the Medina with another tour guide. For the price, it is not worth it.

Booked with Adil Maliki from Marakesh Desert Travel in Marakesh, I drove with Adil from Casablanca to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, visiting also the fabulous Kasbah des Oudaias, which was a really amazing experience. At a distance of approximately 90 kilometres from Casablanca, we arrived within 1 hour and 30 minutes in Rabat, taking the highway from Casablanca. The city is modern, very clean, and beautifully in architecture and layout, with many places worthwhile a visit. Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Rabat Medina, and the Kasbah des Oudaias, and a short trip across the river to Salé Medina, just to mention a few places to see. 1 or 2 days would be sufficient to see and discover the city. I stayed for one day and went back to Casablanca in the late afternoon. Worthwhile to mention is a restaurant near the Medina of Rabat, where I had lunch at "Dar Naji."The restaurant has the reputation of serving the best Couscous Tagine, and I was not disappointed. Definitively worth a visit and a try. The last thing I did was visit the Kasbah des Oudaias. It is absolutely beautiful and enjoyable to be there and see this beautifully restored and well maintained Kasbah, which is totally in white and is still inhabited by locals.
