The guide was very informative. The tour starts as a bit of a hard sell, but you just need to say no if it is not for you. It was an excellent way to find out about the souks. We appreciated the fact our group was only 4 as we could hear what was said. Glad we chose this way to see the Souks.

We booked a private tour of the Souk and we could not have asked for a better guide than Ali. Very patient and knew every nook and cranny of the Medina as well as it's history. He is also popular with the vendors in the Souk. Money and time well spent.

Our guide Qualieddine Taoufiq was very comprehensive, spoke very good Italian and provided us with a lot of interesting information. He took us into the labyrinths of the souk explaining the changes over the years. I highly recommend both the excursion and this guide. At the end he kindly accompanied us to take a taxi and negotiated the prices for the photos!
