Our Marrakech food guide Tarik was friendly, mellow and knowledgeable. Our stops included (1) the olive market, (2) a dessert shop with a fruit smoothy, (3) donuts, (4) a street vendor who made us a ‘pita pocket’ with egg and onion, (5) a shop serving cow udder [“tastes just like cheese” …NOT!], and (6) a restaurant serving tangia with poor meat quality. He thought we might be able to stop for some cow spleen too, but the shop was closed. While our guide and the couple with us were great, my daughter and I do not think that the tour was worth the 60 euro per person price for samples of cheap street food.
