I was traveling alone in Marrakech and booked a shopping tour with Yaya — it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip! As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how safe and comfortable he made me feel while navigating the busy Medina. Yaya knew exactly where to go — from rug shops to spices and local crafts — and he explained the history and culture along the way. What stood out most was that he never pressured me to buy anything. Instead, he gave honest advice on quality and pricing, which made the experience feel genuine and enjoyable. Shopping in Marrakech can be overwhelming on your own, but with Yaya it was stress-free and fun. I left with some beautiful items and great memories. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you’re traveling solo!

I was initially hesistant to even visit Jema al fnaa and the Medina because of how infamous it is ( scams, touts, overly aggressive salesmen etc) but my guide Yaya made my walking tour super pleasant and i felt safe every step of the way. He has a great sense of humor and was very accomodating snd full of interesting stories about the city. I was able to wander down narrow winding streets that that looked more where locals lived and worked. It was a great experience and i highly recommend !
