Ouarzazate One Day Trip from Marrakech

Had a great time, the panoramic view was breath taking and tour in general was good. Only down fall was the overpriced food at the restaurant, the food wasn't as tasty

Had to wait for 40 minutes by the side of the road so a "smaller" vehicle could be sent to take us on our trip due to the number of" last minute cancellations". The guide then left us with a new driver, who was actually quite nice, but spoke to us minimally. So no guide but a smaller minibus with much more comfortable seats than the first which seated the 8 people who turned up. Communications re pickup times and locations from Click travel came very late in the day, and initial communication wasn't sent until 19:30 pm the evening before. I WhatsApp messaged and then rang earlier in the day as instructed to find out what was happening but was told to wait firstly until the afternoon, then wait again until 7:30pm. This was all followed by further ambiguous WhatsApp messages sent just before midnight to inform us about the time change in Morocco that morning, when the clocks went forward. Which is probably why so many people didn't show and held us up as they were probably asleep by that time the message was sent! We only had 1 hour to cross over to the old Kasbah at Ait Benhaddou, which meant we only got to walk to the top of the hill and come straight back down again. No time to explore the streets, shops or houses in the kasbah. The restaurant we were taken to for lunch was reasonable, a buffet, but I had an upset stomach the next day, which may or may have not been the salad I ate there as my son was fine. The location and scenery en route was stunning, the driver was very friendly and pleasant and did his best despite not being a guide. The coffee stop on route there and back was a welcome break and the film studios, which is predominantly old Ben Hur sets was quite fun, but not worth going just for that in my opinion. Would have preferred more time at Ait Benhaddou. A good but unprofessionally executed excursion. We were told we'd be picked up at 6:55, which turned out to be after 7:10 and we didn't actually leave Marrakech until gone 8:30am. There were only 2 other couples who were picked up after us both from within the Medina like ourselves.

Excursión imprescindible si viajas a Marrakech. Nuestro guía Halid súper amable , muy pendiente de nosotros en todos momento. Pedimos guía en Español pero nos tocó en grupo de habla francesa e inglesa. Aún así él se esforzó al máximo por que siguiéramos la explicación. Halid. Muy atento nos mantuvo atentos a toda la explicación y en el regreso a Marrakech nos hizo un test sobre contenido de la excursión ¡ qué gane yo y Halid tuve un gran detalle conmigo! Lo recomiendo.
