With a private guide (who had a history degree), I could ask about all of the things that interest me, about family culture, societal expectations, religion. I went to places in the souks and medina I wouldn’t have ventured into on my own. He also knew various artisans who explained their craft.

Sehr netter Tourguide mit viel Ahnung von der Geschichte der Stadt. Zwischendurch haben wir ein Drink zu uns genommen in einem Panoramacafé mit Aussicht über den ganzen Markt. Es ging auch an sehr dunkle und wenig besuchte Ecken, die wir als Frauen niemals alleine besichtigt hätten, die eine Besichtigung aber wert waren.
