Discover Marrakech’s verdant oasis from the top of a camel on this sunset camel ride through the Palmeraie, a huge palm grove a short drive from the city. After being picked up at your Marrakech hotel, you will head to the Palmeraie for your scenic camel ride experience, then you’ll visit a Berber house and have snack and mint tea.

If you are staying inside the Medina, your pickup will be at the closest point accessible to vehicles.
Directions: Hotel pickup is available from hotels and riads located in central Marrakech. Please be sure to advise your hotel details at the time of reconfirmation to arrange your pickup time. If your riad is inside the medina, you will be asked to make your way to the nearest place accessible to vehicles, which may involve a short walk.
Return point: Returns to original departure point

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • A minimum of two people are required for this tour to operate. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is only one person booked onto the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
  • A conservative dress code is recommended in Morocco. Men and women should keep their upper body (especially shoulders, chest and midriff) as well as their knees covered at all times as a sign of respect to the local culture. Wearing shorts is not recommended
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Both of our guides were great! Marwan (our driver) was super friendly and chatty. He was perfectly on time, had a clean car, and was very friendly. The camel ride was amazing and was about 15 min to the location that we had tea and snacks and 15 min back to the car. We were dropped off back where we were picked up and the whole process was simple and enjoyable.

Firstly, special shoutout to Marowan - Viatour, if you are reading this. As a business owner myself, I recognise talent - this guy is super talented. You need to get hold of him and help him progress! Everything was super slick and smooth from pickup, to the experience itself. Felt safe, ride was well organised, and the sunset beautiful. The animals are obviously very well cared for, and all the family lovely. Thanks again for the experience - well worth paying the extra to be a private group.
