Nice place to get some basic butterfly knowledge. We got to see a variety of butterfly’s and a few frogs. The taxidermy butteries are way cheaper here than at the souvenir shops. We hiked the long trail. There are a lot of steep steps 12” +. I wouldn’t recommend for people with mobility issues. There is also a lot of up and down.

My family and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and although it a bit of an entrance fee it’s absolutely worth it. They let you wander around as long as you want. We were happy to meet Rachel and Laura who were our guides who and passionate about the butterflies and rainforest restoration. You really get an up close and personal experience. Would absolutely love to do it again
