Our first time to Costa Rica and we could not have had a better birding experience. Sergio, who is from the area, is an expert birder and professional photographer. He knew where the birds would be and made sure we got to see them. There are so many birds that he wisely focused on showing us those that we cannot see at home. We got around 40 lifers in three hours! Sergio also shared his knowledge of local lizards, frogs, bats, and and plants. We highly recommend Sergio to any visiting birder who wants to see what the Jaco area has to offer.

Incredible guide, we saw so much, Sergio is talented with listening to birds and finding out where they are. It’s an amazing tour and would recommend to all.

Sergio was an excellent Bird photography guide. He arrived to pick us up on time, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Sergio took us to great locations for birds and we were able to capture some wonderful bird images. Sergio also shared a great amount of detail specific to bird photography.
