Costa Rica is a favorite destination for bird watching enthusiasts. An eager disposition and readiness to spot some tropical birds and some great binoculars are all you need to see some of the most beautiful birds in the world in some of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica. Come prepared to encounter a colorful array of endemic and migratory birds like the Quetzal, black-bellied hummingbird, Trogons, Macaws and Toucans. All our groups are small. Travelers can choose between one of the areas mentioned above (1. Monteverde, 2. San Gerardo de Dota, 3. Carara National Park).

Robert did a great job. I see he knows his birds and area well. He came equipped to pick us up, tour many locations and bring us back.

Wow! Robert see's absolutely everything! This was the most amazing experience -- Robert spotted birds and animals and camouflaged insects that I would never have been able to see on my own that were incredibly beautiful! He also has so much knowledge to share about all of the plants and animals in Costa Rica. It was so wonderful to spend the day with such a positive person who is enthusiastic and truly cares about nature. I felt safe and in good hands while learning and experiencing so much of Costa Rica's beauty. I highly recommend!

Second tour we booked! we had a great time learning about Costa Rica’s wildlife and enjoy the sunset at the top of the hill. Robert knows ENG/SPA/GER so the communication was very fluid. Thank you so much! See you next time.
