We are glad that we saved this activity for our final day in Costa Rica. There was no topping it - and we did some pretty amazing things including caving and ziplining. Orlando, Mario, and Flaco took great care of us. Flaco drove skillfully through the steep hills of Manuel Antonio and the surrounding area. Mario traveled with us in a sea kayak the entire time taking pictures and video. He took our youngest (11) in the kayak with him towards the end of the tour, which she loved. Orlando guided us masterfully down the river and threw in a few surprises (which I will not spoil!). Orlando also shared his knowledge of flora and fauna - we saw a number of sea birds (herons, egrets), other birds, and Jesus lizards. Roughly halfway down the river was a gorgeous waterfall. When we arrived at the end of the tour, Flaco was waiting for us with fresh fruit and drinks. We then had a typical lunch at the Tucanes restaurant. Mario transferred pictures and video to our cell phone so we have memories to last a lifetime. On a scale of 1 to 10, this was an 11!

Simply the best! We had an amazing experience with the best tour guides ever, Luis and Juan Carlos, we’re the best guides ever on the raft and on the kayak, taking us to a wide range of rapids. It was above and beyond fantastic. They showed us the wild life as well. We did some surfing in the rapids that was super-fun! Overall an unforgettable experience! Thank you Luis for keeping the raft steady and and thank you Juan Carlos for all great photos and videos!

Mario was very patient with our special needs 11 year old son. We all had an excellent time and also enjoyed the educational aspect of the drive to the rapids. Excellent experience!
