The start time is at our office at 7a.m. Once you arrive to our office you will enjoy some coffee and cookies that we provide while you wait for the group to be complete. Once all the group is together you will follow us in your car to the parking (included in the price) or we take you in case you do not have a car, the parking is close from the entrance to the Marino Ballena NP where you will board the boat. The boat drive to Caño Island is about 1h and 15min. Once you arrive to Caño Island you will enjoy of 2 snorkelings, 1st one 1h and 2nd one 45min approx, you will have a break time between snorkelings to have some snacks. After the snorkeling time you will have a beach time and then the lunch time. After that you will board the boat again to come back to the Marino Ballena NP where initially you board the boat (If the weather condition does not allow to have the lunch at the beach we will have the lunch time at our office). The finish point is at Marino Ballena NP.

    When we arrive to Caño Island the crew gives to the clients the snorkleing equipment, the snorkleing is develop in two different spots of the Island, the first snorkeling is 45min-1h approx, then we have some time to have a snack (cookies and tropical fruits), after this we do the second snorkeling, it is 40min approx.

Guide was very knowledgeable and his passion for the environment was evident. Cano Island still had some turtles, puffer fish, and coral ????. However, most of the corals have been bleached due to climate change(yup, it exists).

Edward and his 2 colleagues made sure we had a great trip. Booking the snorkeling trip is the best tip we can give you. The snorkeling is really nice, with lots of turtles, stingrays and beautiful fish, but on top of that you have a great chance of sporting whales and dolphins, which we did. Whale watching and snorkeling trip in 1! I also liked it very much that the captain turned around quickly along the way, only to remove a plastic bottle from the ocean when he spotted it. Also I should not forget to mention the great lunch on the beach that was served to us once we were back ashore! Truly a memorable day for our whole family, one of those days you chose a far away destination like Costa Rica for!

Una experiencia única y el Guia excelente. Desde el punto de encuentro tienes tips de la aventura y mesa de café, agua y comida (galletas). Durante el recorrido te explican y te informan de pequeños detalles respecto a los diferentes animales que puedas encontrar, también comparten fruta y un sándwich. Finalente cuando llegan a tu aventura en isla del caño, el Guia y su ayudante están contigo todo el tiempo, para que el grupo siempre esté unido y te explican los animales que estás viendo en el agua. Tuve suerte, ya que en el camino de vuelta vimos una ballena tropical y delfines. El Guia fue increíble, te comparte las fotos que él toma.
