The Original Canopy Tour offers Canopy Tour, Rappel, climbing a Hollow tree, Tarzan Swing, and an exhilarating opportunity to soar through the treetops high above the forest floor on the adventure of a lifetime. Here you will view the jungle life from a perspective previously reserved for a selected group of researchers and photographers. Everything was designed for your fun but always preserving the forest.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

4.5/5, rounded up to 5. Unforgettable experience -- both for the adrenaline rush and the stunning views from the treetops (you can see out to the pacific ocean on a clear day!). Try not to cut out early as the last 2 zip lines were the longest and our favourite by far. One drawback (and I may have been primed to notice this as I read it in other reviews ahead of time) was that some staff weren't super engaged - e.g., moving quickly to set you up and get you going (not pausing to check if you were OK / ready to go, which I would have appreciated as it was my first time ziplining). Also, it took quite a while to get everyone in their gear at the start of the tour (it was just one person setting up a group of 20+ people). And finally you have to pay for photos - common on these types of tours but tough as you're told not to bring out your phone on the platforms in case you drop it/your gloves, so we left without photos of the experience which was a bit disappointing. But these are just small nitpicks as overall the experience was really positive.

Exhilarating and terrifying (in the best way) at the same time; the guides were fantastic and helped us every step of the way through the tour. Highly recommend.

Solid tour. On the positive side, more exciting than most ziplines, you're quite high up, and the climb up the hollow tree is unique. Staff was polite and friendly. We took one other zipline (canyoning) tour, and have ziplined twice in other countries. Pictures were OK but not great. Group was large (around a dozen) and the tree platforms got crowded. The other zipline we did during the Costa Rica trip was a bit better. Still worth it, and was a fine tour with some unique aspects.
