The best way to get to know a country’s culture is through its food. During this hands-on cooking class, you will discover the unique flavors of Uzbek dishes with the help of the local chef. The class also includes a visit to the local market where you will purchase ingredients for the meals from local farmers and get to know about the traditional way of life. With our cooking class, you’ll not only master your cooking skills but also have an opportunity to experience a stay in the yurt camp located in a stunning mountain landscape. Vegetarians are welcome. Please let us know about your dietary needs in advance. This cooking class takes place in Sayyod Yurt Camp located in the Nuratau Mountains. The travel costs to/from the yurt camp and accommodation are not included in the price of the class however we will help you book these services.Please check inlusions and exclusions to this class.

Yurt camping in Uzbekistan - Sayyod Yurt Camp, Katta-Bog'don Sayyod village, 131214, Oezbekistan You can also make your own travel arrangements to get to Sayyod Yurt Camp. The easiest way is to take a train from your city to Jizzakh and then take shared/private taxi to Sayyod Yurt Camp. We can provide more information on public transport if you contact us.

We will pick you up from your hotel/place in Tashkent and Samarkand at 9 AM and transfer to Sayyod Yurt Camp (3-4 hours drive). If you would like to join us from Bukhara, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8 AM, it takes 4,5 - 5 hours to get to the camp. There is an extra charge for this transfers.
