Câmara de Lobos is a very small fishing village easily accessed from Funchal on a local bus for around €2.20. When we visited there was lots of construction going on around the harbour area so it didn’t have a relaxing feel. The little harbour and colourful boats are cute and there’s an a abundance of coffee shops/restaurants. If you go up the steps behind the large seal mural in the harbour area there’s an interesting piece of artwork - a large stone bottom!! No idea why but it’s a fun place to pose for a photo.

Esta antiga aldeia de pescadores me lembra um pouco a Bocadasse, em Gênova. Uma vila linda e maravilhosa repleta de lugares encantadores, bares, restaurantes e moradores simpáticos e cordiais. Parada obrigatória na ida ao Cabo Girão. Anexo fotos.

Súper pintoresco y animado este pequeño pueblo que estaba todo decorado con cosas que hacen los niños, de manera que veías por ejemplo faroles hechos por niños con plásticos o utilizando latas de refrescos. Tiene miradores fantásticos. Merece la pena caminar hasta el faro y a las calles altas que quedan al otro lado de la bahía. Es un pueblo pequeño y encantador con mucha animación
