This is a 90 minute tour around the downtown area of Charleston. Included in that tour, is a drive by to the more popular areas that tourists visit. That being said, it was somewhat helpful to explore the city on our own, after seeing the layout, distance from one area to another, etc. What wasn't helpful is getting street names told to you, in a hurry and trying to remember what those were. It would be more helpful to hand out a city map (which were at the visitors center) or suggest that people get one, so that you can follow along and mark the places you'd like to find on your own. We also had a little hiccup with the parking service - we tried to extend our 2 hour parking pass to more, and it kept declining my card. Later, discovered that we were charged 9 times - which the company did fix, but it was irritating at the time and we moved our car a block away with no issues. Recommend that you eat at Hymans which was excellent and recommended by our driver. Overall, it was worth doing, but again, grab a map first. We didn't' get to go back to see much of what was suggested, mainly because we had no idea where to find it again.
