This is a tour of Charleston where you don’t get up from your seat. This activity is unique to the industry, in that the dishes are all authentic to the time period and the courses are done chronologically beginning in the 18th century, and it’s all narrated by Culinary Historian Mike Hebb.

This is a dining experience like no other - it's a performance! The gracious and well-informed host took us on a journey - in our case it was mid-nineteenth century Charleston. We learned not just about the food we ate but about the social circumstances that might have produced such a menu. Be prepared for seasonings and presentations that aren't necessarily common in modern American cooking. Each dish has a story! Plus, the museum where the event takes place is fascinating - arrive as early as possible to take that in before dinner.

The host, Mike Hebb, created a special and unforgettable experience! It was truly impressive how knowledgeable he was on American and food history. The food was amazing and we will definitely come back again to enjoy the other themes Mike has planned!

Wonderful Experience!! Such a terrific presentation on history. Mike really made it interesting!! Also, the food was fabulous. We just loved learning more about Charleston. Perfect for us this weekend!!
