Our tour guide Ek and driver Pim were great and funny. They were knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. They made this trip to Chiang Mai worthwhile. They have been our favorite tour guides so far. Definitely recommend!

Sehr freundliche und persönliche Betreuung. Wir sind pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt worden und durften an einem individuellen und abwechslungsreichen Tagesprogramm teilnehmen. Neben einer Wanderung durch den Jungel und einer Kaffee Probe bei den Einheimischen haben wir noch den höchsten Punkt Thailands besucht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

ドーイ・ステープは、山上の名刹として知られる有名な観光スポットです。早朝にこの寺院へと向かう道筋には、托鉢をする僧侶たちに食糧や花をタンブン（喜捨）する敬虔な仏教徒の姿が見られます。山上の寺に到着すると、人々はそれぞれの好む仏像にお参りしたり、黄金色に輝くチェディ（仏舎利塔）のまわりを３周して願い事をするなど、ここでも伝統的な慣習に従った敬虔な祈りの姿が見られます。ところが、ここから約３時間のドライブを経てワット・ロン・クンと呼ばれるホワイトテンプル（白い寺院）に着くと、そこには現代を代表するアーティストが設計を手がけた奇想天外な内外装をもつ新世代の仏教イメージが展開され、地獄図なども白で統一された異様な迫力で迫ってくるのです。そして、観覧後には不思議な新鮮さに包まながらチェンマイへの家路を辿ることになります。
