2-Day Best of Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai Private Package

Everything was very good (perfect :)) during the private trip : shedule timing, nice van, hotel Maryo (sure worth 3 stars!), food in restaurant , as mentioned in program….the guide even allowed us to adapt the program a bit to our own wishes during the trip! We had an amazing two day private tour with Chiang Mail Local Tours, and would give it 10 stars if we could. Our guide, Odi, was genuinely interested in showing us the sites and providing interesting historical and cultural context. He welcomed our many questions and was eager to make sure we had a fulfilling experience. Ton, our driver, was also terrific, besides being a great driver. Both Odi and Ton were fun to be with and it didn't take long to feel like we were all friends. They picked us up from our airbnb in Chiang Mai on time in a beautiful, clean, air conditioned van. We toured all of the places listed, as well as a few bonus stops. Odi was great about talking with the locals along the way, and filling us in with information they shared - he is extremely personable, and helped us engage with the the people at each experience. The food was also an incredible experience, with Odi taking us to his favorite stops, making great recommendations, and being more tan generous with his ordering. Lunch on the second day was at his favorite roadside restaurant at the home of a mother/daughter team, which we would never had considered stopping at on our own. It was a true treat. My daughter says the two lunches we had with Odi and Ton were the two most delicious meals we had during our trip. I can't say enough about what a terrific experience this was, and would love to do another tour with Chiang Mai Local Tours if in Thailand again.
