Visiting a one of the numerous Karen Long Neck villages in Thailand is one of the most exotic experiences on the planet. We had ethical questions on if it these hill tribe villages would feel like human zoos, but thankfully we decided to visit anyway. It is a real life National Geographic Magazine to have to see to believe.

Our tour guide and driver were absolutely great, our guide had a lot of knowledge that she shared with us. We had a great tour, definitely recommend. If I was to say anything negative it would be that the tour advertises 8 hours, this tour is definitely 15 hours. Just bring some snacks for when you are in the bus, especially the 4 hours drive back.

Well every place we went was cool. Our hosts were polite they did forget to pick up one person so we had to turn around and get them. That cut about 30 minutes out of our day,but it was the right thing to do. Only issue was that the tour says clearly 7 to 8 hours. We were picked up at 730 am and dropped off a block away from our hotel at 930 pm That's 14.5 hour packed in a van with 11 other people. Nobody was very happy, we had to change our flight with AirAsia who charged us for all new flights and had to get a hotel for one more night,and we were already paying for a different hotel at our next destination. To sum it up 7 hours longer then the time we were told and stated on their website. It literally would take 8 hours just to drive to The Golden triangle and back. Negative experience.

The tour operator was very nice and skilled and the tour was very well organized. There are multiple places to visit and you can have a great global scenario of the northern part of Thailand.
