This tea plantation consists of over 12 square km of tea fields, lakes, fruit trees and flower beds. There is a central viewpoint for the tea fields.

In my opinion, this is the better day trip to take out of Chiang Mai because the black house is not that impressive and this tour brings you to the giant goddess of mercy statue. We looked at a lot of tours and after doing some research we realized the black house wasn’t that interesting to us so all the typical golden triangle tours were not suitable. I really wanted to see the giant goddess of mercy statue which many tours don’t go to, until we found this one. With a great price, and great English speaking guide, this tour was totally worth it. You get about 30-45mins at each destination and the guide will tell you the main points about each attraction and help you take photos. We departed around 7am and you get back before 7pm! The communication leading up to the day was very clear as they can text you through WhatsApp so you are clear what the pick up details are. We had two people on our booking and paid for the second person in cash and got a bit of a promo discount too :). Highly recommend this tour over the other chiang rai day trips.
