Drive your very own Tuk Tuk and explore the hidden delights of rural Chiang Mai on this day long action-packed tour. Accompanied by a guide throughout, first learn to drive your Tuk Tuk, then pass through stunning rural communities on your way to a remote mountain Temple. Continue enjoying your Tuk Tuk as you travel to a small but fascinating elephant home where you'll learn about and see how the locals prepare their food. We pick up from all hotels / guest houses in Chiang Mai city - please make sure you let us know where you're staying so we can confirm the time our team will be with you (usually between 08:00 and 08:30 depending on how many pick ups we are doing!)

  • Spare clothing is recommended after the rafting
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Yuth. The villages and countryside were beautiful and they took us to amazing places. We also met elephants and road down a river in a bamboo raft. Driving the TukTuk was very fun and easy.

Driving the Tuk Tuk was what made the outing special but we also enjoyed bathing the elephants & the 45 minute to hour long bamboo rafting trip. Be sure to bring an international driver’s license because if you don’t they have a driver chauffeur you (still fun but not as exciting). You can get one at any AAA office. After a short training session those driving visited some temples before lunch at the elephant sanctuary. We were then joined by the chauffeured Tuk Tuks who had stopped at a waterfall while we were getting driving instructions. The guides, instructors, and drivers were all interesting, fun and knowledgeable. We were picked up and brought back to our Chiang Mai hotel and made new friends on the way. Definitely recommend even if you don’t have any previous motorcycle skills.

TUK TUK Driving was a dream come true. Add in bamboo rafting and splashing elephants in the river and great guides top off the best day. Do it❣️
