Enjoy a unique experience! 10KM of inflatable kayaking (IK) on the Mae Taeng river near Chiang Mai. IKs are two person kayaks, the guide sits in the back and you sit in the front. It's lots of fun because the IKs can fit into the slots and drops. It's a great way to see the river and jungle. We start with a safety briefing and practice before hitting the water. The river has gentle sections and a series of whitewater rapids. Families with children should book 7-14 year olds on our 'family inflatable kayaking' or 'family rafting' adventures. This tour is available from November- June when the water levels are lower.

Excellent experience. Our captains knew the river very well and were always engaged.My twelve and fifteen years old sons had a brilliant time. We were picked up from our doorstep on the edge of town and the journey north was quick. We saw two elephants bathing themselves in the river which was amazing, but the highlight was when a small reticulated python fell from an overhanging tree into the water near us . A couple of the captains got out to take a closer look and were astonished when my mate William jumped out of his kayak to pick it up out of the water. He rescues snakes in Hong Kong. Unfortunately we didn't have a camera with us at that section of the river. It was a beautiful young snake that took some persuading to go back into the forest.

It was an amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and we had so much fun with them, always making sure we had a great time! We will for sure be back the next time we're in Chiang Mai!
