    Our first stop is Jamdevi Temple (Wat Cham Thawi), home to a chedi surrounded by arches holding 60 Buddha statues; Queen Chama Devi’s ashes are said to be found inside. Le guide était très sympathique et parle volontiers de tout sujet. La voiture climatisée est très agréable, la conduite souple et prudente (apprécié) Cependant le tour en lui même est un vrai piège à touristes - hors de prix pour visiter quelques temples (4/5) et un marché local (en plus le déjeuner est à nos frais alors qu'en général sur les tours il est compris dans le package) Je ne recommande pas cette excursion.

Because of the COVID-19, I ended up being the only one to book the tour on that day. Despite this, the tour wasn't cancelled, it basically was a private tour, but I wasn't charged more than for a group tour. The guide and driver, Jackie, was very kind and knowledgeable, he provided detailed information about the various places, much more than one usually hears on such tours. The temples themselves were among the most impressive ones I saw in Thailand. Overall, if you are at interested in temples, and if you have a few days in Chiang Mai, I'd strongly recommend taking this tour.

Si vous souhaiter découvrir de beaux temples tout en découvrant l'histoire du bouddhisme et de la région, n'hésitez pas a faire cette sortie. Nous avons passé une journée extraordinaire grace a Faith, notre guide et chauffeur. Voiture confortable et impeccable. Très bon anglais. Avons beaucoup appris sur les sites visités et pas que : le bouddhisme, l'économie du pays, l'éducation, le tourisme... Patient, attentif, une pointe d'humour et désireux de répondre a nos besoins, ce fut une très belle rencontre.
