Wir haben viel streetfood gegessen welches wir gar nicht kannten; ohne dir Tour hätten wir das niemals probiert. So haben wir neues über die Kultur lernen können.

Boy was able to adjust the itinerary based on our location. He quickly learned and adapted the food tour to our preferences and comfort level. He integrated his local knowledge of hygienic, good Cook spots and sprinkled in cultural pearls about the local community. We highly recommend his experience and personalized service

Our afternoon food tour started with Aei at the Mountain View Guesthouse - we were a little early, so took the opportunity to have a refreshing drink whilst we waited. The tour started promptly with a trip to a local market. We ate food we wouldn't normally have even had a clue what it was, but it was incredibly tasty, authentic and it became definitely something we would like to try again. Actually, we did visit a cooking school later in our holiday and made our own Hang Ley which was unbelievably delicious. We were taken around little rabbit warrens of streets that we found to be so amazing but I don't think we would be able to find them again under our own steam. We popped into one of Aei's favourite pork noodle stalls, it wasn't exactly to my tastes, but I am not the most adventurous of diners. We did go to an indoor market where we enjoyed the best mango and sticky rice - it was luscious and refreshing. If only we could find it again. At the end of the afternoon's trip, we were taken to a lovely little cafe bar where we had a very, welcome cold beer with great views of the river. I don't think that if we wanted to, we would be able to find the stalls, cafe etc again, but to be honest, it's nice to leave the memories as they are and not to try to recreate them. They wouldn't in any way be a fresh or exciting as they were on that very special day. We would like to thank Aei for the company and the wonderful experience. I really hope I have spelt their name correctly as I would hate to offend. Anyway, to anyone considering a walking tour, with food, drink and excellent company - go for it - hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Have fun. - Jill and John
