A visit to Zinacantan resulted in only a visit to a single store selling local textiles. The town itself appeared ordinary. Chamula has lost charm and character and the visit only included a walk along an uninteresting street and a visit to the church where shamanic practices include the sac drive of chickens and roosters.

El guía tenía buen conocimiento de telares y fue interesante la visita a Zinacantán, pero la experiencia mejor fue la visita a la iglesia, para algunas personas no fue grata porque dicen que sentían mala vibra estando adentro. Hace frío en el mes de marzo y varias personas del tour ya querían regresar porque no iban bien abrigadas
