  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Riding our rented bikes along the lakefront was a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bike provided 100% met our needs.

Well located. Day we were there a Monday v quiet. But that did not mean we got good bikes. My bike was a creaky queen Victoria bike with seat well below handlebars. Gears very very stiff. Shouldn't have accepted it ..my fault. The other bike squeaked and groaned after about 10 mins on the trail and got worse and worse. Told the girl on return..she wasn't interested. 'They all get checked.'..apparently. No effort to check bike fitted at start. Please note They don't do a rescue service... but give you a puncture repair kit. I really dont intend to learn how to repair a puncture on my holidays. Can't recommend

My wife and I really enjoyed the half-day bike rental, which was enough time to pedal along the lake up to Montrose Beach (about 45 minutes to reach that beach), and to stop for lunch and a stroll in Lincoln Park Zoo on the way back. Appreciated the 7 speeds of the comfort bikes compared to the 1-speed of some city bike shares or a Jersey shore boardwalk rental. The staff is knowledgeable, and Bobby's is a working bike shop that keeps the bikes in good repair and gets you outfitted for your ride.
