La desembocadura esta dentro del Parque Pedro Del Rio Zañartu una reserva natural si vas en vehículo debes pagar $3.000 la entrada, vale pena el viaje, al llegar ves como el río Bio Bio entra al mar, también tiene una pequeña playa. Puedes mirar la puesta de sol o pasar el día simplemente un espectáculo.
