We climb 5,600 meters above sea level, to the top of the most accessible mountain in Atacama, to discover what lies behind the Andes mountains. We start the hike at 5,200 meters above sea level to reach the summit after almost 2 km of ascent with 400 meters of unevenness. A beautiful view of the volcanoes and altiplano lagoons invite us to enjoy this summit.

    The guide will pick up each passenger and begin the adventure, an 80-minute journey to their first stop. We will have breakfast with a view of the Licancabur and Juriques volcanoes, this will help them to have an acclimatization prior to the Ascension We begin the hike at 5,200 meters above sea level to reach the summit after almost 2 km of ascent with 400 meters of unevenness. A beautiful view of the volcanoes and altiplano lagoons invite us to enjoy this summit. At the end of the guide will leave each passenger in their respective accommodation.

This has been the highlight of our vacation so far. This is an amazing hike - it is not a difficult trail but the altitude makes it very hard, but the views are worth it. Our guide Gary was great, he made sure we prepared for our hike beforehand so that we did not get altitude sickness and taught us a lot about the area. He also made timed our hike to avoid a storm that was coming in on the top of the volcano. Over all this is a must do if you enjoy a strenuous, but not too long of a hike (took us a little over 3 hrs).

Uma ótima experiência, o local é lindo. Vale lembrar que é necessário estar ambientando à altitude. Também não é para iniciantes, é necessário ter um minímo de preparo físico para não passar mal e estragar o passeio do seu grupo. Necessário estar muito bem agassalhado, mesmo que em São Pedro esteja quente, você vai para um local extremamente alto com ventos cortantes. Essencial ter um calçado adequado. Fui no começo de outubro e ainda estava muitoooo frio, mesmo com 3 camadas é congelante.

Estive no Atacama com meu companheiro em Agosto de 2023 e fizemos os passeios de bicicleta à Garganta Del Diablo e a ascensão do Cerro Toco com a Sorbac. A experiência foi excelente! Desde o atendimento por e-mail para as reservas com a Monica, passando pelo apoio da Silvia (uma querida ????????) quando chegamos a San Pedro, até o acompanhamento dos guias JP e Christian nos passeios. JP e Christian são montanhistas experientes e foram extremamente pacientes e cuidadosos durante ambos os roteiros. Ter contratado a Sorbac foi determinante para que tivéssemos experiências positivas e inesquecíveis! O trabalho que realizam é excepcional e muito comprometido.
