Unlike riding on a plain this expedition takes you up into the hills surrounding Santiago. The ground is very rocky , with some steep moments, and in places the path is narrow ,although there are no big cliffs to fall down. The horses knew there way and were sure footed so nothing to worry about. My wife is an experienced rider and had a great time.the horse was fun, happy and responsive. I had to concentrate more on the basics of staying on the horse! So if you enjoy riding or want to try it this is a neat way and you get great views of the city and a sense of the mountains around it.

Lauren and Mario are super hosts. The sceneries is fantastic, the ride was smooth. We could proudly say we have ride the Chilean horses in Andes mountain range. Stronly recommended.

Jamie our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We are vegan and he made a beautiful vegan lunch for us that was delicious! The riding was rocky and steep in parts, so be prepared to hold on! The horses were amazing!! We rode Chilean Criollo horses in the foothills of the Andes with Ronja and Pacifico, then gave them fresh carrots❣️
