This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. It tells the sad story of a beautiful Inca princess who, when she died, her husband deposited the body of his beloved in the bed of the lagoon, turning the color of the waters to emerald green, like the eyes of the princess.

This was such a special tour that my Mom had especially been looking forward to! And what a great day it was! Sebastian was our fabulous tour guide - providing a wealth of knowledge about the area and infusing the group with such good happy energy. The day was perfectly paced with stops along the way, and the view at the lagoon was priceless! We especially loved stopping to see the many turns on the way up the mountain. For me (who gets motion sick), the trip went well, and Sebastian was super kind to let me sit in the front. Just a perfect, beautiful day - filled with the cutest animals too!! Definitely book this trip!

This tour was amazing and the guide (Claudio) pulled it all together with his knowledge and zest for the history of the area. We had a nice time at the winery and amazing views through the winding roads of the Andes. Our final arrival to the Inca Lagoon was beautiful beyond belief. Our guide Claudio bought wine for us to savor over lunch (homemade empanadas) at our final stop at a family owned restaurant. He was super friendly and offered his continued tour knowledge for our next stop in Punta Arenas. He went above and beyond and provided us some tips for our tour in PA along with his personal info to contact him if needed. Needless to say, we needed his assistance after our tour was cancelled. He helped set up a private tour for us with a trusted friend and your company in Punta Arenas. He completed saved the entire trip south to the Patagonian region. Thanks so much Claudio!!!
